Capt. Phil Harris, from the Discovery Channel’s “Deadliest Catch” to visit Alaska Aviation Museum in July
The Alaska Aviation Museum has been granted full civilian museum
certification from the National Museum of the United States Air Force
(NMUSAF). The Museum now qualifies to enter into loans of historical
Air Force property.
"This certification allows the Museum to preserve Alaska's military
aviation history," states Norm Lagasse, Executive Director of the Museum
and retired Lt. Colonel from the Air Force and the Alaska Air National
Guard. "This will provide us with new exhibits and future opportunities
for acquiring loans of Air Force artifacts for expanding exhibits."
The Alaska Aviation Museum is a 501 (c) 3 non profit organization.
