The Salmon Bake is the museum’s big summer fundraiser which usually is put on late June or early July. The event features low fly-bys over the lake from a variety of planes, from vintage to large cargo planes. Many of the museums neighbors agree to take part and bring their planes by for fly-bys. A live band, live and silent auctions, door prizes, and normally a special guest are also a part of this fun event, and of course as the name suggests Salmon is a main dish on the menu. For the 2013 Salmon Bake, Patty Wagstaff and Debbie Gary, aerobatic pilots, were the special guests. This event is fun for all! We hope to see you at our next Salmon Bake!
